At Lafosse Soap Co, we strive to deliver your handcrafted soaps quickly and safely. This shipping policy outlines our process to ensure a smooth experience. Please review the details below.
Shipping Methods
We offer the following shipping options via the United States Postal Service (USPS):
- USPS Ground Advantage: Our standard, economical option, with delivery in 2–5 business days after processing.
- USPS Priority Mail: A faster option, with delivery in 1–3 business days after processing.
Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays).
- Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST may begin processing the next business day.
- Once processed, your order is handed over to USPS for delivery.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order, your selected shipping method, and your delivery address.
- We offer free standard shipping (USPS Ground Advantage) on orders over $75 within the contiguous United States.
- Additional fees may apply for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or APO/FPO addresses.
Delivery Timeframes
- USPS Ground Advantage: Typically delivers in 2–5 business days after processing.
- USPS Priority Mail: Typically delivers in 1–3 business days after processing.
- Delivery times are estimates provided by USPS and may vary due to factors like weather, holidays, or carrier delays.
- International shipping is not currently offered.
Order Tracking
- All orders include tracking information, which will be emailed to you once your order ships.
- You can track your package on the USPS website or by contacting us at customerservice@lafossesoapco.com.
Shipping Restrictions
- We ship to addresses within the United States, including APO/FPO addresses.
- We cannot ship to P.O. boxes for orders containing certain oversized items.
- Due to the nature of our products, we do not ship hazardous materials or items requiring temperature control (e.g., refrigerated goods).
Lost or Damaged Packages
- Lost Packages: If your package is marked as delivered but not received, or not delivered within 10 business days of shipment, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with USPS to locate your package or file a claim.
- Damaged Packages: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the damaged items and packaging. We will provide a replacement or refund, subject to USPS claim approval.
- Lafosse Soap Co is not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
Customer Responsibilities
- Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete. Lafosse Soap Co is not responsible for delays or lost packages due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses.
- Additional fees, such as redelivery or address correction fees charged by USPS, are the customer’s responsibility.
